Side-dock widget column.

With your Dock on the left or right edge, widgets now stack in a tidy vertical column beside it instead of spreading along the bottom, so they line up with the Dock you actually use.

Apple Music in the Music widget.

The Music widget now works with Apple Music alongside Spotify, showing the current track and what's coming up next.

Memory pressure in System Stats.

The RAM stat can now show macOS memory pressure instead of — or alongside — used memory, so you can watch how hard your Mac is leaning on memory, not just how much is in use.

Disk throughput graphs.

System Stats can now chart live SSD read and write speed next to CPU, memory, and the network, with a GB/s tier so a fast transfer reads correctly instead of pinning the meter.

Move docktor to Applications.

When docktor is running from a temporary spot like your Downloads folder or a mounted disk image, it now offers — in setup and in Settings ▸ General — to move itself to Applications so it can start reliably with your Mac.

Redesigned stats hover.

Hovering the System Stats widget now shows a grid of tiles with live sparkline trends instead of a row of utilization bars.

Steadier Music widget.

A brief network hiccup no longer makes Spotify read "Not Playing" — your last track stays on screen and reconnects on its own, and the widget now shows where playback is coming from.

Fixed crashes on macOS 26 and 27 (Tahoe).

Flipping settings toggles or switching between Light and Dark appearance could crash docktor on the latest macOS. Those crashes are resolved.

Maintenance release.

Restores the public beta's built-in feedback and diagnostics reporting, which was inadvertently disabled in 0.13.0. There are no feature changes, and none of your settings are affected — updating simply reconnects the beta's opt-out diagnostics so we can keep improving docktor.

Cleaner widgets by default.

Collapsed widgets render their icons edge-to-edge without the extra chrome plate, so the bar reads as one tidy row. New appearance controls let you hide a widget's redundant icon while it's expanded and turn the hover controls on or off. The tidier look is applied automatically on this update, and every option is adjustable in Settings.

Tint the Dock to match your widgets.

docktor can paint a subtle backdrop plate behind the Dock so it blends with your widget glass, keeping text and glyphs legible against whatever tint you choose. It's on by default and only shows color once you've given your glass a tint.

Size widgets your way.

Set a custom widget width, or tap "Fit to Dock" to size everything to your current Dock height in one step.

Arrange your widget drawers.

Choose the order widgets open in, with smoother Now-Playing and stat rendering alongside.

A round of fixes.

Dock preview tooltips stay centered over unrecognized Dock items instead of drifting off to one side, and battery bar contents stay centered at tall Dock heights.

Settings looks like the setup wizard now.

The Settings window shares the onboarding wizard's glass surface, chrome, and typography, and brings its live previews into the panes — the Dock Previews pill, the Cmd-Tab switcher, and a working Music widget, all drawn from seeded sample data (never live capture or your real content).

Rename your battery devices.

A pencil button on each device row in Settings lets you give a shorter name — "MX Master 4" can become something that fits a Dock chip. The name is remembered per device.

Sharper weather icons and a clearer Calendar brief.

Weather condition icons color the correct symbol layer, so composite glyphs like "partly cloudy" stay legible in light mode. The Calendar brief now marks day boundaries so a run of events reads clearly across today, tomorrow, and later dates.

A round of correctness fixes.

Signing into Spotify no longer risks an endless retry loop; weather forecasts survive non-Gregorian system calendars; unsent feedback is protected from crash-report collection; a calendar's event selection can no longer be silently wiped; and smooth scrolling no longer wedges on a fast start/stop.

No more crash when paging through a widget's drawer.

Switching pages inside a widget drawer — most often the Music drawer — could crash docktor. The paged drawers (Music, Weather, System Stats, World Clock, and Device Batteries) were rebuilt on a lighter scrolling foundation that removes the crash entirely.

Like the current song right from the Music widget.

The playback controls now include a like/favorite heart. In Apple Music it toggles the song's Favorite; in Spotify it adds or removes the song from your Liked Songs. The heart reflects changes you make elsewhere and hides itself when there's nothing to act on — a radio station, or when Spotify isn't connected.

The widget size toggle works.

The resize hint on a tile's hover overlay now actually expands or collapses the widget, in every interaction mode.

Time-synced lyrics.

Lyric highlighting in the Music drawer now follows along with the playing track.
